Another Reason Not to Vote for AG Kamela Harris for California U.S. Senate

Attorney Harris has never ever been elected to a legislature at ANY level of government.

Meanwhile Harris’s opponent – Rep. Loretta Sanchez – has Congressional experience.

by Rudyard Kipling: “If”

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream – and not make dreams your master;
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build’em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

cropped-new-years-eve-california.jpg

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings – nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And – which is more – you’ll be a Man, my son

How can I stay there. For just a 1,000 years?

Can’t say where. The landlord wants practically no one to know I am living there.

Even Dave Peterson says foul things about the landlord

Maybe I can teach her CBT?!?

Crying in my sleep…

Wake up later, I STILL hear crying. It is not a dream.

This is only my second night sleeping there.

I am now telling myself, this is the best place to be.

Not the crying lady’s house, but Peets’ coffee shop at Middle Street in Menlo Park.

Can’t get a SamTrans bus to take me to the #35 VTA 6:09 a.m. bus to my prayer meeting in Palo Alto.

Not one but two “Out of Service” buses passed by me in Menlo.

It is Monday and my expectations are usually at a 0 (zero) on Mondays; thus all is good.

Where Are They Now? The Homeless?

Do you know the whereabouts of Jimmy, Anni, Stephanie, Billy, Buck, Glenn, Tom, and others?

Before Christmas, there were about six single adults. Four of the six have been institutionalized; therefore vanishing from public view behind the Tan Group’s Menlo Center adjacent to the Sam Trans bus stop and the Cal Train Menlo Park Station.

The bottom line is: Are these people happy where they ended?

We know Billy is in jail for petty shoplifting.

Jimmy and Tom were placed in separate rehabilitation programs regarding alcoholism.

Glenn and Buck are still on-the-street houseless.

Stephanie was housed in a furnished apartment. We suspect she is lonely and unproductive; therefore unhappy.

Senatorial Candidate Speaks to Local Government on the San Francisco Peninsula

PRESENTATIONS OF D.A.D. TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL

(The Dailey Sun-Chronicles ~ MENLOUGH PARK, CALIFORNIA) –

David A. Dailey attended the council’s last meeting of the 2015 year and suggested that Menlo act more like a city or reincorporate into a town government. Returning councilmember and outgoing Mayor Charlene “Let them Eat Cake” Carlton was absent and California Assembly member candidate Peter Ohtaki was late for the December meeting.

Without a response from the contracted City Attorney Bill McClure or any councilmember, on December 24, 2015, David filed a citizen’s complaint against seven (7) MPPD uniformed officers. There were separate incidents (MPPD Case #15-3468, #15-3531, etc.) during November (6th at 1:40 a.m. inside the 7-11 Store, 9th at 11:00 p.m. near the yogurt shop, 13th at 1:00 p.m. on the west side of MPPC / Menlo.Church, and 30th at 8:00 a.m. along Santa Cruz Avenue nearby Hillview Middle School, which has carcinogenic artificial grass athletic turf) in downtown Menlo Park that are documented.

On January 4, 2016, David filed three (3) stolen property reports based upon four events between September and December 2015. More data is being sought about (Case #16-27) the particulars of being without two cell phones and an unmatching set of luggage taken from the victim either along Santa Cruz Avenue or from historic Fremont Park.

Editors’ Notes: D.A.D. has earned Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Manager (CM), and Registered Environmental Assessor (REA) designations with a M.S. in Public Health and Safety from Indiana University at Bloomington and received two post-graduate certificates from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). He supports activities of Occupy San Francisco Peninsula, the Sequoia Union High School District, the Vice President of the United States, and has also practiced as a legislative advocate in three and as a paralegal in two states.

On November 10, 2015, D.A.D. announced that he would run for the open U.S. Senate seat.

Beforehand on November 2, 2015, D.A.D. attended a community meeting about safety in unincorporated West Menlo Park which was held at Las Lomitas School in Atherton and arranged by City of Menlo Park Councilman Ray Mueller. It was attended by County of San Mateo Supervisor and former Sheriff Don Horsley, the City’s Chief of Police Robert Jonsen, and at least a dozen other City officials. No follow-up on neighbor’s concerns was given, promised, or arranged for a later date. It is apparent that these officials believe the annexation of county-administered properties is imminent; most residents are against such action.

In 1992, D.A.D. lost an U.S. congressional race [to Anna Eshoo who is still employed in the D. C. ~ giving away American jobs locally via visas and green-cards] and in 1994 he tried to obtain more votes than popular Stanford Law Professor Tom Campbell to work in Sacramento becoming a California State Senator for human rights and services. D.A.D. spent over seven years at Lockheed during the Cold War, about seven years after graduation from Indiana University at Bloomington. After service between 2003 and 2008 as a California Departments of Public Health and Health Services’ Health Facilities Evaluator, he was illegally terminated and narrowly lost his judicial appeal versus current California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who now insists on running into the United States Senate.

D.A.D. is a Past President of the Sons of the American Revolution – Silicon Valley Chapter – State Director of the National Safety Management Society, former International Director of Communications for the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Past President of three Toastmaster clubs, and officer of two Bay Area chapters of the ASSE.

Buck Dailey is a publisher, author of books, screenplays, and web-blogs, Obama campaigner during the last two presidential races, comedian and humorist, sports and culinary critic, business administrator, and environmental, health, security, and safety engineer.

D.A.D.’s presentation focus was about better public transportation (SamTrans / Redi-Wheels paratransit / CalTrain) and local police work.

“In Chicago, Protect and Serve is on every police car. I see none of this in Menlo Park,” he stated.

“I was fortunate to buy my first house in unincorporated Menlo Park (in the Las Lomitas Elementary School District – still one of the five best in the entire State of California) in November, 1986,” David matter of factly said.

David implied that because of poor driving habits, lack of traffic controls and lighting, removal of SamTrans bus services, and a refusal of peace officers directing traffic, that the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers is at-risk. Engineering and administrative methods by public works or police agencies would alleviate the traffic congestion during the morning commute, lunch-time period, and the long evening commute. Furthermore, the City of Menlo Park has done little to solve their own issues along Willow Road, Santa Cruz Avenue, Middlefield Road, and the El Camino Real.

The Menlo Park Police Department has a public persona that they focus on giving moving violation tickets and parking tickets; doing nothing to help ease traffic congestion. It was pointed out that for a SamTrans Route 296 bus rider to travel from Sequoia Station Redwood City through Menlo Park to either the Veterans Administration or East Palo Alto – it takes more than an hour – almost every Monday through Friday afternoon. SamTrans Routes ECR, 86, and 286 are also delayed.

On Tuesday, January 12, 2016, D. A. D. met with the head of the MPPD Internal Affairs Division and later that evening made his second consecutive presentation to the sitting City Council about Menlo Park’s police, their lost-and-found system, daily traffic congestion, and public works matters.

It has been proposed that the City return the memorial label that had been placed on a wooden park bench and suddenly removed (replaced by an uncomfortable, unlabeled metal contraption) from in front of Peet’s Coffee and Tea shop #2. In addition, the City was urged to install two additional suitable park benches into a U-seating arrangement at the Santa Cruz Avenue side of the shop with the inscriptions of three additional loyal patrons – Peetniks – whom have passed outside the second location chosen by founder Alfred Peet nearly 50 years ago. The names of: Spencer Harris, Dan Rosset, Tim Coburn, and George Resch must be inscribed on those benches outside 899 Santa Cruz Avenue at the corner of University Drive across the street to the east of historic Fremont Park.

Indiana University Graduate to Run for the U.S. Senate in the “Land of Milk and Honey”

The Dailey Sun-Chronicles

~ Winter Solstice 2015 – REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA) –

Former State of Colorado, Indiana, and California Green Party member – David A. Dailey – announced on Veterans’ Day 2015 his interest in the seat in Congress being vacated by Marin County’s Barbara Boxer. He marched alongside the Sons of the American Revolution at the annual San Jose parade.

Dailey stated that it was important to have another Senator in D. C. that can work cooperatively with all Americans and team with Dianne Feinstein. Other announced candidates would not work out with constituents nor citizenship from the other 49 states and U.S. territories. He plans to win the “court of public opinion” versus former City and County of San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris.

OCCUPY COUNTY OF SAN MATEO [NORTHERN CALIFORNIA]

 (The Dailey Sun-Chronicles ~ Veterans Day 2015 Edition) –

Charlie Chan, Buck D.D., and Jimmy Crackcorn announced the beginning of the Occupy ____ movement throughout the San Francisco Peninsula today. In keeping with the neighborhood civic acumen(s), business climate and unchanging weather conditions, and current Facebook and Tesla social and corporate management theories, occupy camps will be moved weekly from one announced and government-permitted location to another. Some Occupy San Francisco Peninsula camps change daily.

As the Sam Trans’ Route 295/296 bus arrived into Menlo Park (population 131 homeless, 3,880 canines, and no horses) at noon Pacific Standard Time Wednesday the 5th of the eleventh month, an organizer praised the contributions of 007 by providing professional transportation services to a community severely lacking good public transportation systems and safe female drivers of oversized sport utility motor vehicles (SUVs).

Editors’ Notes: “Buck” is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) who in 1986 purchased his 1st home in the 3200 block of Alameda de las Pulgas [unincorporated  Menlo Park, County of San Mateo California]. Although he is remains a public person he has largely been hiding as a “houseless American” since January 2007.  In 1992 “Buck” lost an U.S. congressional race [to the same congressperson Anna Eshoo who is still employed in D. C. ~ giving away high-compensation with health insurance and other employee benefits ~ American jobs locally via visas and green-cards] and in 1994 he tried to get more votes than popular Stanford Law Professor Tom Campbell in order to work in Sacramento to become a California State Senator for human rights and services.

West Menlo Park Mayor Dailey spent over seven years at Lockheed working during the Cold War about seven years after graduation from Indiana University at Bloomington (A.B. ’76, M.S. ’78). Buck was illegally terminated last September by the United Parcel Service (UPS). After over 50 months of service between 2003 and 2008 as a California Department of Public Health and Health Services Health Facilities Evaluator, he was illegally terminated and narrowly lost his judicial appeal versus current State of California Attorney General Camilla Harris, who now insists on running for one of two democratic seats in the United States Senate!

Buck is a publisher, author of Lessons Learned From Dogs [copyright 2011] and Confessions of An Oenophile ~ An American Family Cookbook of Comfort Food [copyright 2008], comedian and humorist, sports reporter and wagering handicapper, business administrator and environmental, health, security, and safety educator, and household engineer. Deer, California is the title of his first book about homelessness written from 2005 to 2014.

  • Take Responsibility if Accused of Vehicular Manslaughter.

  • Let the California Highway Patrol (CHP) focus on higher priorities than soccer-mom driving.

  • Boycott free newspapers and their advertisers that do not practice ‘responsible journalism.’ Therefore, protect valid sources, no fear-mongering, reduce sensationalism, write truthfully and factually, and promote good news. Just because the Internet and free rags are not costly, that does not make what is printed factual, accurate, or always believable. Sometimes, you get what you pay for . . . nothing.
  • Do not expect a public agency to solve woman problems, particularly if they are personal things.
  • Restore Sam Trans and improved Cal-Train train and bus services to your immediate community.
  • Plan to improve education, both public schools and private entities: A) At Home, B) In School, and C) During Every After-School Activity [i.e. Menlo Park Lyceum].
  • Find better means of energy consumption and public transportation. Sam Trans / Redi-Wheels Paratransit / Cal-Train are among the worst-managed quasi-governmental agencies in the USA.
  • Help the Bay Area Air Quality Management Board, the clean water agencies, and local zoning commissions revise improved public policies.
  • Blame Congressperson Anna Eshoo for what she has done in the United States Congress, as a hospital board member, and County of San Mateo Supervisor. If you re-elect her, you are now responsible and should be held accountable. FYI: In 1991, Eshoo was asked to put street lighting and traffic lights along Alameda de las Pulgas. She did nothing. Many were injured and some animals died a gruesome end.
  • Support elected officials like the current efforts of California Senator Jerry Hill who has represented the people of the County of San Mateo very well.
  • Work with the office of United States Senator Dianne Feinstein before, during, and after 2016 congressional hearings discussing the dreaded houseless populations in Northern California.
  • Improve health care; particularly the County of San Mateo Health System’s policies and daily protocols. People are needlessly suffering because health care professionals are following poorly-conceived and implemented procedures. Ask that the current county director resign and be quickly replaced.
  • Take issues in prayer to God, first. Then bother your priest, minister, social worker, and friends.
  • Utilize ‘The Brothers’ for issue resolution and decrease stressors on the court systems.
